A short experimenting with megascans in Unreal Engine 5
Experimenting with MOCAP data to layout a famous sequence, shot for shot
"Treasure Tussle"
An animated short completed as a group project for my third semester at BCIT
"Alchemix"
A trailer for our game design class. Responsible for layout, animation and lighting.
Another niche I find fascinating is photogrammetry.
Photogrammetry is the art and science of extracting 3D information from photographs. The process involves taking overlapping photographs of an object, structure, or space, and stitching them together into 3D digital models.
I experimented with several different objects with the goal of mapping my campus building. Which I did... check it out!
Rigging Experiments
This was an early attempt at facial rigging in Maya.
The rig is driven by conveniently located controllers for animators to quickly grab and adjust as needed. All controls are zeroed out making it easy to return to a default pose.
Another early attempt at prop rigging in Maya.
This was a fun challenge to create life through movement of an inanimate object like a sack of flour. Strategically setting up a ribbon rig paired with foot and ear controls gave this otherwise inanimate object something to move for.
